People must know that there was a team called Afghanistan that was not quite prominent over the last couple of years. But today, the team has developed itself quite prominently to a pretty good side that has the capability to give tough competition to any side in the world. One of the brilliant finds for the Afghan team is Rashid Khan who is creating a huge reputation for himself and his team. Today, along with Rashid, another player Mujeeb Ur Rehman, is also a youngster who is showing a lot of promise and does indeed has a long journey to go in his career.
In the 6th match of the Asia Cup 2018, Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, the birthday boy " Rashid Khan" turning 20 had a brilliant day both with the bat as well as with the ball.
After winning the toss, the Afghan captain " Asghar Afghan" won the toss and put the Bangladesh team to bowl first. The Afghanistan team were playing with the same team except for one change which was Samiullah Shenwari while Bangladesh had to make a forceful change for Tamim Iqbal who got injured in his previous match. For providing adequate rest for their prime players, Bangladesh team had rested both Mushfiqur Rahim as well as Mustafizur Rehman for the next encounter against India.

But things changed when the birthday boy " Rashid Khan came out for batting for his team. He along with Gulbadin Naib played brilliantly to take the Afghanistan team score to a competitive total of 255 in 50 overs.
In the second innings, the Bangladesh team did not have the kind of start they always wanted. Before reaching a mere score of 50 runs 4 prominent batsmen of the Bangladesh team were back to the pavilion. The bowling performance of the Afghanistan team was quite commendable as they were not ready to give even a single run as a freebie. The birthday boy " Rashid Khan" was not only brilliant with the bat but was exceptional while bowling and fielding as well. In his 9 overs spell, the boy conceded a mere 13 runs, took 2 wickets as well as was involved in a runout. The Bangladesh team bundled out at a mere score of 116 runs, letting the Afghanistan team win by 136 runs.
