It's going to be almost more than one year since we have been staying at home and thinking about places to start we always wanted to travel right!
Well, now that several companies are producing vaccines for COVID-19, it is time for us to rethink or reschedule our plans to travel the different parts of the world. Today, one of the places that we're going to see is the Mackinac Islands. Located between the state's upper and lower peninsulas, the island was long home to an Odawa settlement and previous indigenous cultures before being colonized by the Europeans. colonization happened in the 17th century. The Mackinac Island is in Lake Huron. Well during those times it was considered as one of the prime places for trading fur across the globe.
After the war in 1812, the US was able to get back its
islands from the Europeans. By the start of 19 century, Mackinac Island became
one of the prominent tourist attractions. Now that we know something about
these islands it's time for us to dive in to find what are the places that we
can visit during our stay. Below are places that one can visit while on these
islands.
