AI- Swarm Technology In The Making
AI- Swarm Technology in the Making
What do you think might happen in the next 10 years, wait 20 years no 30 years..!! Will AI Machines take over us? Isn't it a question that comes on to your mind every now and then.
Last week one of the most anticipated movies 2.0 released. A 3D video spectacle created by none other than Shankar with mind-boggling acting by Akshay Kumar and Superstar Rajnikanth. The most surprising element came in the second half of the movie when we see the mini-bots 3.0 designed by none other than Chitti super bot 2.0 come to its rescue. It is quite obvious to have a thought as to why the hell I am talking about the movie rather than the actual topic which is AI- Artificial Intelligence.
We see the swarm of Micro-Bots coming in for the rescue of Chitti and blasting all the mobile robots of villain. It is related to something called Swarm Technology. A lot of Countries across the world are thinking of implementing this technology for the fight against the terrorist.
So what exactly is swarm intelligence technology?
It is nothing but a collective behavior of decentralized, self-organized systems which can be artificial or natural. Consider a small set of drones that coordinate together to carry out an impossible mission. Well, the swarm intelligence as it describes is used to carry out an impossible mission with the help of AI machines.
Well, now it seems to be a bit more believable after seeing one of the videos sent by one of my close mates. It was quite a small video but a lot to think about it. Everybody would have seen the drones used for taking videos during the main events within the families. What if the swarm of these drones is designed in such a way that they carry out the military operations by themselves without the requirement of any human loss?
As described through the video, the person describing the process is nothing but the Swarm technology. If you watch the movie 2.0 carefully, the optimized version of 3.0 is quite similar to this concept.
Now, the next thing that one might ask is how these drones would sync and work? These drones are designed in such a way that it can react 100 times faster than the humans. The device is completely autonomous and operates through the AI technology. Just like any of the mobile devices that we use today, it has in-built cameras, sensors and just like social media apps, it has the facial recognition feature. This micro drone consists of 3 GM of shaped explosives. The minute explosive is more than enough to penetrate through the skull and kill the human. The main motto of making this device as specified by the company is to eradicate terrorism without any human loss. The thinking is quite new, but when seen at larger prospects, it lumens as a probable danger for every individual living on this planet.
As a matter of fact, AI devices can simply specify your sexuality through facial recognition. In the recent past, we have seen many of the AI technology developed by Facebook, and Google started learning by itself and in the long run, it is presumed to be dangerous. As specified by one of the professors of University of Berkeley, there is no doubt that implementing these AI-powered drones for military purposes have enormous benefit but allowing machines to choose to kill humans will be devastating and the security of oneself would be quite questionable.
What's your take on this topic. I leave that to you..?
Just over the most recent few years have machines had the option to fool human judges into accepting they're carrying on a discussion with another human. artificial intelligence course
